Vegas Trip

So to make this preface short, my girlfriend had never been to Vegas and needed a vacation. You know Im always down to go to Vegas so we planned a week trip at the start of the world series so I could play and she could get her vacay.

I will honestly say I didnt think i would have as much fun with her as i normally would with friends, mainly because all my friends planting the seed by saying "vegas cool, oh that sucks your girls goin". But as it turns out we had a phenomenal time and she wants to go back again soon, which is a far cry from about 6 months ago when she swore up and down she would never go to LV.

On a side note, i elected to not play event 4 a) because i didnt want her to be bored and alone for a day+ in a place shes never been, b) this reasons outlined in my first post and i didnt reach my self imposed goal. Not a big deal really bc i most likely would have received a horrible beat from a huge moron as is standard in those large live donkaments.

I think the main reason i had so much fun was because i actually experienced more of VEGAS and less of the inside of casinos... on previous trips i spent 10 hours a day at the poker table and the rest of the time by the pool or playing cocktail hunter(explanation to come). Anyway we went and saw KA which is an amazing show and we meet a few people at the 3 card tables from cali who we hung out with. We spent A LOT of time at the pool and going to nicer restaurants rather than just eating fast food every meal, although you know we had to hit up fat burger b/c Im fly at fat burger when im way out west!

COCKTAIL HUNTER!!!!! you know what im talking about, cocktail hunter is when you bounce from slot to slot getting free drinks from the cocktail waitresses and after a while and the more sloshed you get it becomes a much more exciting game! We played that a few nights, our record was 15 beers/12 mixed drinks in 2 hours for 15 bucks in tips, needless to say we were hammered drunk and had a great time back in the hotel room!!

In closing...all in all a great trip although i only played about 8 hours total of poker, i was running hot at 3 card poker hitting 3-3 of a kinds and 1 straight flush, and after spending $800 on food plus the shows and cost of the suite and flying out there we were only $200 bucks in the hole so the trip paid for itself. Not as much as ive made in the past playing poker but a much more enjoyable trip.

More to come on my adventure of redepositing after my trip to come....stay tuned.
